Overview
Who should attend:
In groups of 6 people, teams will play the role they are in real life to make the Challenge very relevant and current. The event will focus on the current issues ie. working together to benefit patient outcomes, increasing the quality of working in a QIPP environment and focussing on care pathways.
How it works:
Teams will role-play in a series of different scenarios set in an imaginary health economy their own roles, whether GP, PCT manager, mental health trust manager etc to address a range of issues that they might encounter.
The event will provide teams with a challenging environment in which they have to make quick decisions in response to changing circumstances. During the day the teams will receive “interventions”, information based on actual events.
To succeed, participants will have to use all their skills in decision-making, flexibility, negotiation and persuasion. They will have to juggle competing demands.
