Ben Thomas is on secondment to the Department of Health from the National Patient Safety. He is currently Professional Adviser for mental health and learning disability nursing within the Chief Nursing Officer for England's Professional Leadership Team.

Paddy Cooney is Director of the South West Development Centre, working with NHS South West. He is also the Programme Lead for the Social Inclusion and Social Justice Programme (PSA 16) within the National Mental Health Development Unit in DH.  

John is Professor of Mental Health Nursing at the University of Manchester. He has key responsibility for managing relationships with the SHA, local Trusts, and other partners including non —medical education contracts held by the Faculty.  

Iain joined the NHS in 1981. He trained as a nurse in Scotland and in 1985, moved to the South West.   He completed General Management Training and a Masters degree at Bristol University.   He held a series of management posts in acute, community and mental health services, before moving into health authority management in the early 1990s.

Professor Rachel Munton is Director of the Collaboration for Leadership in Applied Health Research and Care (CLAHRC) for Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Lincolnshire (NDL), and Director of the East Midlands Leadership Academy.

In her current role for the Psychosis Clinical Academic Group at SlaM, Lucy leads on CAG accreditation and CAG internal and external communication, as well as working on CAG strategy and service development. Previously, she was the Head of Children’s Commissioning and Dementia Lead for a Primary Care Trust in west London, and holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Healthcare Commissioning from the University of Birmingham.
